The Gourmet Animal is more like having a private chef than a meal prep service. I love that Chef Chris and his team select the proteins and produce that are currently the best in season and from the best vendors. I love that I don't have to choose meals every week. My family and I are consistently impressed and delighted with the food--lots of variety and everything is so delicious and flavorful. The sauces are delicious. We're never bored with the food. Delivery, packaging, and user interface are seamless. You compromise nothing by going with this smaller company compared to a national meal prep service. Subscribing to this service is easily one of the best decisions I've made. I care very much about what I eat every day, but I don't have to stress about it anymore.

Delivery was quick and easy. The food was delicious and excellent excellent combinations of vegetables and sauces. It’s great coming home and having delicious healthy food I could quickly prep and eat.

Chef Chris and The Gourmet Animal are truly exceptional. We've never eaten so well or felt so good about our nutrition! Each meal strikes the perfect balance of flavor, nourishment, and care. We look forward to the weekly menu and are consistently blown away by the creativity, the tenderness of the ingredients, and the thoughtful details in every dish. (The salmon green curry was out of this world! Easily one of the most delicious meals we’ve had this year, dining in or out) Eating healthy has never felt so indulgent and effective. On top of everything, Chef Chris is incredibly professional and communicative. He’s responsive, thoughtful, and makes the entire experience seamless. It’s clear how much he genuinely cares about his clients and the food he creates. We feel so lucky to be eating top quality meals and not stressing over meal prep or spending hundreds on subpar postmates each week. Our only regret is not finding it sooner! It’s hands down the best investment we've made for ourselves and our family. Thank you to Chef Chris and team for all that you do!

I discovered Chris four years ago when I had just had my baby and received a week's worth of food delivery as a gift. I’ve been raving about it ever since! So, when my husband’s 50th birthday came around, I couldn’t imagine hiring anyone else for such a special occasion—and Chris absolutely delivered. The food is top-notch, made with only the best ingredients, and the catering exceeded all expectations. From the hand-selected menu to stunning presentation, everything was perfect. Standout dishes like the lentil caviar and turkey apricot meatballs were a huge hit, and every course was cooked to perfection. Even my picky 4-year-old couldn’t get enough of the broccoli—a true testament to Chris’s talent! Chris is an absolute pro who goes above and beyond, ensuring every detail is flawless. Generous portions meant we had plenty of leftovers (and our friends were thrilled to take some home too). If you’re looking for an incredible chef for catering or food delivery, look no further. I can’t wait to work with Chris again!
