We had an outstanding experience for our first catered event with LA Spice. The event planner, Andrea, was pleasant and easy to work with. She came and did a site visit to assess the possibilities for the party set up. A few weeks later we had to change the venue. She was completely unflustered, came back for another site visit and made new suggestions about the set up. As for the menu, she listened carefully to our parameters, then put together a menu that looked great on paper. She also worked with us to design the party layout including the colors for the table coverings, garden umbrellas, chairs, etc. On the day of the party, she arrived early to oversee the set up. The catering staff came shortly afterwards and worked in a well orchestrated fashion to put everything together in just about 30 minutes. The food that had looked good on paper was superb in both appearance and taste. The guests raved about the food long after the party! The service by the staff of five (Chefs: Conrad & Dante; Servers: Agustin & Dawn; Bartender: Seth) was top-notch — pleasant, professional, attentive, and good humored. Many of our guests complimented us on how we’d found this group for our event. For the size of our party and the food and service provided, the cost per person was very reasonable and lower than in our past experience with caterers. We will definitely use LA Spice for future events and would highly recommend them to anyone else.

Andrea and her team were ROCK STARS! Andrea went above and beyond to make sure my event was a success by stopping by the site in advance, helping me rearrange the floor plan and providing her professional opinion on what would work best! Her team arrived early and immediately set up multiple stations in no time, that complimented my theme beautifully. My tenants enjoyed the selection LA SPICE put together and could not stop talking about the BEET HUMMUS! I could not have done this event without them! Looking forward to working with LA SPICE, Andrea and her team of professionals in the future! Book your next event with LA SPICE, you will not regret it!

LA Spice is a 1st class business all the way! Andrea, the coordinator was a delight to work with. She is professional, kind and attentive. Andrea made sure that she met or exceeded all my expectations for the day of the event. She kept a good line of communication with me that was truly appreciated. The staff was very helpful and eager to keep the event running smooth. They took direction well, so I didn't feel the need to keep checking on them. The hors d’ oeuvres presentation was lovely besides tasting so good. It was such a relief to just enjoy the event!

LA Spice is just fantastic, from the food to the service to the responsiveness and professionalism. I had to reach out to LA Spice very last minute for a very difficult event... a reception after a funeral. I gave them less than 48 hours notice and they did everything they could to help make a difficult time in my family's life a little less difficult and a little more beautiful. Andrea - the event producer - went above and beyond to make it possible to have a lovely reception at my home less than 48 hours after I called. She worked with me until well past normal business hours to ensure that everything went smoothly and to provide me and my family with exactly what we were looking for to celebrate my father’s life and welcome 30+ people into my house after his funeral services. She then came to my home personally to ensure everything went smoothly and was set up beautifully while I was not yet even home from the services. The superb Chef not only makes excellent, elegant, beautifully presented food, but is a truly kind person. He took precious time away from his family while at an amusement park in order to put together (and then adjust!) a lovely menu for me on such short notice. The food and the presentation of it was just exceptional. It was exactly what I wanted and more. The amount of food was also perfectly estimated. Everyone had plenty to eat and got what they wanted, there was no shortage of food and yet, there was also not too much left over after the event ended. The servers, Augustin and Mike were so kind, well organized, helpful, pro-active, polite, efficient, observant and overall excellent servers in our home during the event. Even our guests noticed and commented on how wonderful they were. LA Spice will be the only catering service I will use and recommend going forward whenever possible. There were a few people in my home that day who also need the services of catering on occasion they wanted LA Spice business cards. That is high praise. They did a spectacular job in every way and it was not only noticed, but appreciated.
